The Exmoor & the North Devon countryside is nationally renowned as a location for all Terrain Biking. Biking is a popular activity, and instructors will ensure you have fun whether your peddling along a cycle track, or negotiating a challenging off-trail route. The rides are led by experienced guides who also act as bike doctors in case of a bike emergency! This is an idyllic way to see the wildlife and sights of the beautiful countryside under the supervision of experienced Instructors. More challenging routes include cycling over the paths and hills of Exmoor including the downward path from Dunkery Beacon, biking the notorious North Devon Coastal path from Lynton to the Valley of the Rocks or a gentle road ride from Coombe Martin along Devon lanes to Croyde, be warned, there are some steep hills!

You can also bike down the Tarka Trail hiring bikes in nearby Braunton and cycling along a route the glides along side the Taw estuary into Barnstaple. From ther, you cross over the river and follow the Tarka trail through to Bideford and onwards deep into the Devon countryside. This cycle route is flat and so suitable for all ages but it is very long so even the most experienced cyclists would be pushed to ride the entire oute in one day.
