Canoeing

North Devon lends itself to all types of canoeing to suit all abilities. You have the option of surf canoeing from the beaches of Saunton, Croyde or Woolacombe or sea canoeing in the more sheltered coves of Lee Bay and Ilfracombe. Alternatively, you could try a more gentle paddle in the estuary around Crow Point or river canoeing on the Taw and Torridge with a variety of runs from gentle to white water rapids depending on the location.
